Side Load Spinach Harvester The side load harvester is designed for higher bulk operations. The product is collected in high bins or trailers that are pulled alongside the moving harvester. Productivity can exceed 10,000 lbs. of Spinach per hour. The harvester is built on a 4 wheel drive, 4 wheel steer vehicle with a hydrostatic transmission. The header includes a bandsaw cutter and pick-up belt which together "float" on a gauge roller. Product is delivered to the bins using a conveyor which pivots in order to fill both the inner and outer row of bins on the trailer without jumping beds.
